We’re thrilled to announce the release of our latest Gender Equality Progress Report. This comprehensive report highlights our organisation’s unwavering commitment to fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace.

Key Highlights:
- Women’s representation increased by 1% between 2021 and 2023, while men’s decreased by 3%.
- Male representation on our Board of Directors dropped from four to three, with no change in female representation.
- The negative pay gap widened to 10.1% in 2023, up from 5.9% in 2021, due to factors like an aging workforce and shifts in employment types.
- Workforce segregation is evident, with a 16% decrease in staff feeling culturally safe at work.
- Sexual harassment cases remained low, at around 3% annually.
- Perceptions of fairness in recruitment improved by 3%, but the perception of equal promotion opportunities declined by 6%.
In response, we have/are:
- Restructured our HR department, appointed a dedicated HR Manager
- In the process of establishing several committees to support the GEAP’s implementation
- Addressing an aging workforce and a shift toward casual employment
- Investing in new traineeship programs
- Conducting classification reviews and reviewing promotion of equitable career progression opportunities
- Improve responses to sexual harassment, through policy reviews, managerial training and the establishment of peer support networks.
- Introducing targeted leadership training, a multi-focal recruitment strategy, and promoting flexible work arrangements.
